Mailing Labels & Avery Forms
The MMS can print labels and name badges on standard Avery Forms. This is done using PDF files. Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader can stretch and offset the printing differently depending on your settings within the Reader.
To compensate for this, there are settings that you can adjust within MMS Configuration, Quick Reports & Reporting Configuration. These settings allow you to adjust the printing up and down the page, and stretch it vertically if necessary. This will require a little trial and error, so you will want to print the 1st page on regular paper, see how it looks superimposed on your Avery forms held up to the light, make adjustments, and repeat the process.
If the addresses are off at the top, bottom, or middle (that is, their alignment within the label is different as you go down the page), you have a vertical scaling issue. You will want to adjust the scaling factor up or down until all the addresses are printing the same all the way down the page.
If all the addresses are off (falling off the top or bottom of the label), then you have an vertical offset issue. You will want to adjust the offset up or down until the addresses are centered within the label.
If you have both problems, you'll want to correct the vertical scaling issue first, then adjust the offset.
Mailing Label Notes:
Employer (Business Name) and Position can optionally be included in the mailing label. See MMS Configuration, Quick Reports & Reporting Configuration.
Labels II output is ideal for most all organizations.
Labels I output is ideal for small organizations where members are individuals (not businesses) and do not require using an second address line.
