Election Emails
September 28, 2016
There are two ways to email an election out to all or portions of your active membership. The first way is via the email link on the last page of the Election Creation Wizard. The second way is to navigate to the Elections module from the Administrative area and click on the Email function (envelope icon) next to the election you'd like to inform people about.
Sending Elections - Page One - The Message
If you're already familiar with our Broadcast Message System, you should have no problem here. By default, the system will fill in a lot of the information for you.
- Sender - A friendly name like "Jane Smith" or "2015 Organization Election"
- Sender (Reply) Email - The email address of the person designated to receive voter questions regarding this election
- Subject - The subject of the email
- Message - A content-rich area where images and links can be added in order to raise interest about the election. Note: This message will be going out via email. Keeping it simple is key.
