Overview
Community Posts allows members and non-members to submit non-association events
to admin for approval for inclusion in the Newsletter feature.

Community Posts consists of five basic parts:

  • A member submission system found in the Member's Features section of the main member's page.

  • A non-member submission system that will allow anyone from the general public to submit an article for admin approval.

  • A Community Post Management system that lists all past and present submissions to allow admin to edit, approve and post them to social media.

  • An option in the Newsletter Editor that will allow the user to pull all admin approved submissions into the Newsletter for publication.

  • The post feature is a web page that can be included on your public website that will list all articles with a current date range that have been approved by admin.

To turn all of the features associated with this function on, admin can follow the MMS Configuration link at the bottom of the Administrative Functions section of the Member's Main page. Once at this menu you will find a link labeled Community Posts Configuration about two thirds of the way down the left column of links.

On the configuration page you will find three settings:

  • The check box to turn this feature on and off. All the links associated will be turned off too.

  • The alternate title for Community Posts which will replace the name Community Posts on the links on the Members Page and through out the system headers.

  • The Editor Email Address, which is the address that will be notified when a submission is made.
