Raison D'etre
Creating Features
- From the Main Menu, go to Configuration.
- Under Member Database/Billing Options , go to "Plans (Member Types)".
- Scroll to the bottom of this screen; beneath the list of Plans that you currently offer, you should see a link to "Edit Member Plan Features". If you do not see this link, please submit a support ticket to learn more about turning this on.
- To add a new Feature, click the "Add New Feature" button. to edit an existing Feature, click the 'Edit' pencil next to that feature.
- The Description field is a descriptive name for the feature.
- The Internal Notes field allows you to more fully describe the feature.
- Feature Type indicates whether the Feature is intended specifically for new member or renewing members. Leave it as "Simple" if it should go to both.
- Default Note allows you to have a default note added to the Feature upon fulfillment.
- From the Member Plans menu, click the pencil next to the plan to which you wish to add Features.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, below the "Continue >>" button, click the "Add features to this plan" link.
- Check the boxes of the Features that you offer for this plan, and then click "Continue >>".
Recording Fulfillment of Features
- In the Member Database, click the pencil next to the member whose Feature Fulfillment you wish to record.
- Near the bottom of this page, click the "Update Fulfilled Features for this Member" link.
- You will see a list of links to the terms during which this member has been active. Click the one for the features you wish to record.
- To mark a feature as "fulfilled", fill in the date on which it was fulfilled. You can add an extra note about the fulfillment to the "Fulfillment Notes" (e.g., "member mentioned upgrading next term").
- Click the "Submit Changes" button when you're ready to save.
