. or Section 5.9. Please contact Support if you would like this feature enabled.
The system offers a newsletter editor that allows an organization to edit and publish an electronic newsletter. The newsletter is then stored on your site, and emailed out to your members if you so desire.
The newsletter editor works by first setting up 'templates' for the publications you want to create. The template allows to you set up the common attributes for the publication such as the header image, masthead, colors and more.
Once a template is created, you can add a newsletter (issue) and add/edit articles within the newsletter. As months go by, you can copy a prior month's newsletter to make it easier to create a new issue.
NOTE:
HTML-formatted emails can be tricky at times, given that there are so many email clients out there (Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, etc.). They don't all render HTML in the same way. As a rule-of-thumb, keep things simple
. If you keep the formatting simple, you increase the odds that your newsletter will be look good in all email clients.
PDF VERSION
: To create a PDF version of your website, when viewing it in a browser, choose your browser's print option, then instead of actually sending it to a printer, change the printer destination to Save as PDF, and then save the document to your hard drive. You can now print the newsletter and distribute it by snail mail to your members.
