Admin Reminders
As part of the CRM system, which allows you to record contact with your members or prospects, there is an admin reminder feature.
Admin reminders are reminders to take an action in the future. This is very useful to establish a pattern of repeated contact with prospective member or current members in order to encourage them to join or renew.
In the CRM system, an admin reminder would be a reminder to yourself to make contact with a given member.
To set an admin reminder, search for the member the same way as if you were to record a contact, click on the member, then click on Set New Admin Reminder at the bottom. Then enter the alarm date (the date that you want to be reminded on), a message, and the type of contact you intend this to be.
So if you want to be reminded on May 15 to call Bob about sponsorships, enter may 15 as the alarm date, projected contact type as 'phone call', and the message as 'call bob about sponsorships'.
When May 15 comes, you'll be sent an email reminder to do this. You can then make the call, and go back into the system to view contacts/admin-reminders for Bob, and then you can use the function to 'Mark Done' the reminder, which will then change the reminder to a contact (recording that you had completed the task).
Admins can set up admin reminder series, which allows them to group various reminders based on certain triggers (i.e. new member joins series - call member to welcome them, call them 6 months later to check in, etc.).
