Editable Regions

December 6, 2022

We have rows and columns that together create cells for content to populate, but in order to add content to a cell there must be an editable region within the cell. We can add an editable region to the cell by clicking on the Add Editable Region icon in the top left of the cell, beside the four other icons for row operations. The editable region will take up the full width of the cell, and will say ‘New Content’ by default. Clicking on the ‘New Content’ text will bring up a Modal Dialogue box titled ‘Choose Element Type’, and from here you can choose the type of content that is to be added to the cell. The types of content that can be added are:

  • Text/HTML - This is a standard text element that will add a ‘WYSIWYG’ editor to the cell, and allow you to modify HTML by hitting the button in the top left of the editor’s toolbar.
  • Embed Script - This element will bring up a field where Embed Script can be pasted. This can be used for embedding YouTube videos, Tweets, Facebook posts, etc.
  • Stat Display - This element adds a stat display that can be configured to show one of several different statistics.
  • Panel Feature - This element creates a panel with a button that can link to a given URL. There are a number of pre-defined panel features to choose from, or you can configure a panel feature by selecting –Create Empty Panel–.
  • System-Driven Widgets - These elements pull data from the MMS to display widgets with information that your members may find useful or convenient. There are currently 21 system-driven widgets to choose from:
