Members & Admins
There are two primary security levels within the MMS- member-level access and administrative-level access.
Admin-level access
is intended for your organization's staff or board members. Admins have access to view and edit all member data, use the various content management features, set up event registrations, surveys, and more. The utility of the MMS is primarily intended for admin-level users.
Member-level access
is for general members. Members can view and edit their own information. Members can (depending on configuration) view other member data, but cannot alter another member's data.
In addition, you have the option of granting certain admin-level privileges to member-level users. Ask us about turning on this feature so you can have finer control of granting access to members.
As a general rule, on the main menu of the members' area, Members can see all features except those under the Administrative Functions subheading. Admins are unrestricted, and can see and use all features. In our most up-to-date version of the Members Area, Admin and Member views are split into two separate screens, both of which are visible by admins. See section 15 for more information.
